Questions #AtoZChallenge

Back when I thought I'd be writing about grief, Questions was a logical Q theme.
So many Questions.

Then, I decided to add Covid-19 to my theme. It seemed even more applicable to write about Questions!
There are so very many Questions about this disease.

But you know what? 17 letters in, I'm getting kind of sick of this theme. The darkness, the weight of the subject matter, the daily reminder of difficulties, instead of escaping reality into my blog.

So instead I will ask random Questions for you to answer in a comment, or just think about, or ask others in your household during this time.

Totally random Questions (nothing personal):

If you watch TV, what's your go-to binge these days?

I understand some streaming networks offer "watch together" options, where you can get a bunch of friends in different places, and all watch the same show at the same time. Do you do that? Is it worth it?

Right now, what is your favorite thing to do outside, in the short time you go out?

Typically, what is your favorite thing to do outside?

What will be the first thing you do outside when this is all over?

...Okay, I guess these are not totally random, but still related to Covid-19. Oh well.

Do you read? What are you reading?

Are you satisfied with the food currently in your fridge?

Do you prefer strawberry or chocolate?

What games do you have on your phone (or tablet)... that you actually play?

I'm not being very imaginative, but there you have it. Q, for a day. I guess the obvious final Question is: Do you have any Questions for me?

  1. Interesting questions. Actually, my theme is based roughly on these questions. And you would find answers to some of these questions in my blog posts.
The book I am currently reading is: The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins.

  2. That's a lot of questions!! I will try my best with the last ones :
I read mostly work related books, so not very fun.
The food in my fridge is perfect, as it's my husband who does the shopping and food, Ijust have to ask. Cool, hey? ;))
It's very hard to choose between strawberries and chocolate. I will say... both ;)
    No game on my phone...
A question for you: what is your favorite hobby?

    Q is for Quilting Longarm

    1. That is an awesome set-up you have with your husband! My husband used to do most of the cooking, but now our schedules don't match, so we each eat when and what we choose.
My favorite hobby has been reading, every since I was a little kid. As an adult, another good one has been taking walks. I never realized it was a hobby until I asked if people wanted to go for a walk and they looked at me strangely!

  3. You know, there's no rule that says you can't change your topic up a bit. The only rule is to write to the letter of the day...

    Okay, I'll play...

I don't binge TV. But I just discovered that the Cooking Channel is showing Good Eats, so I've started recording those. I've been watching quite a few.

No, I don't do watch together. I have no one to do that with, but I don't think I would, anyway.

Right now, my favorite thing is to get the mail, although I have been doing for daily walks.

When this is all over, likely the first thing I'll do is go to work.

I have no idea what the title of the book I read last night was. I have hundreds of books on my Nook. I just picked one of them.

I just went to the store today, so I should be okay with my food for a few days at least.

    Chocolate.

I only have three games on my phone. Candy Crush. Pyramid Solitaire Saga. Shuffle Cats. At the moment, I am at the end of Pyramid Solitaire Saga. They add 15 new levels about once a week, so I'll play again once that happens. Shuffle Cats is a rummy game that I generally play on the weekends (there are reasons for this). Candy Crush I am on level 4628.

    1. That's what I figured. I'm on-track with letters, so that's good.

I'm with you. Very few people I'd want to watch TV with, let alone at the same time across timezones.
Are you a speed-reader, then? I have a ton of electronic books in addition to the few physical books I brought overseas, but usually I'm in a book for long enough that I wouldn't forget the title too fast.

    2. Okay, I skimmed the book. And it's part of a series. And I don't want to admit to the trashy title, so...

  4. I've been binging on Inspector Lewis (while sternly reminding myself that Hathaway is FAR too young for me to get a crush on) and re-reading my way through the World of the Lupi series by Eileen Wilks.
That's when I'm not learning that it's possible to have a bad day at work even from the comfort of your own home - and really, really wishing I could go out for breakfast again!

    1. Ohmigoodness. I am so excited for breakfast out! There are two places. One does a proper English scone with cream and jam on weekends, and one does avocado-toast any day.

  5. I think I watch Letterkenny more than anything else, but I haven't binged in a while. An episode or two and I am good.

    1. I definitely binge, then don't watch anything for a while.

I enjoy a good debate. Feel free to shake things up. Tell me I'm wrong. Ask me why I have such a weird opinion. ...or, just laugh and tell how this relates to you and your life.
